OUR STORY
Abishai Corporation is registered in Jamaica as Abishai Play. This entity is an inspiring, energetic, global, fun, and efficient collection of community-impact services that God placed on my heart. Abishai is the biblical name given to David's nephew and means "a gift from God". Abishai became David’s lead general, and he fought tirelessly on behalf of David, protecting him many times from the threats of the enemy. Abishai's most significant act was looking out for David when he was weak and vulnerable, he vowed to never allow the grace on David's life to be snuffed out!
That spirit of taking care of the innocent and safeguarding the weak and vulnerable is the very same spirit of Abishai Corporation and Abishai Play®!
THE FOUNDER & CEO
Jody Robinson
My name is Jody Robinson, but it's possible my name is Jody Blackwood: my grandfather was informally adopted and got the name “Robinson”. I am the Executive Director and proud founder of Abishai Corporation. I attained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at The University of the West Indies, Mona, Western Jamaica Campus, and I am currently waiting to be awarded a master’s degree in Social Work at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus in Trinidad & Tobago. I am creative, poetic, adventurous, organized, and passionate about working with children and youth as well as serving my community. I have over 12 years of experience working with children, youth and, designing programs and projects geared toward enhancing lives of others and corporate spaces.

Kaylia Robinson
Director & Professional Associate
Kaylia has over 3 years’ experience of working with at-risk populations, communities affected by poverty, violence and natural disasters along with extensive work in Foster Care. She holds a bachelor’s and a master’s Degree in Social Work.
Kadone Russell
Director & Professional Associate
Kadone has been working with children and adolescents for almost 10 years. She attained a bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development at the University of Technology in Kingston, Jamaica. She is currently based in Japan where she continues her work with children.
Sherene Isaacs
Administrative Associate
Sherene is a consummate administrative professional who is highly skilled in administration and office management on an executive level. She is also an entrepreneur extraordinaire as she serves as Executive Administrator and co-founder of SheriDale Electrical Ltd. based in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Gabriella Bacchas
Youth Consultant & Associate
Gabriella is a young, talented and dynamic adolescent who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Technology in Jamaica. We are thrilled to welcome her youthful perspectives and creative ideas as we create a relevant and diversified developmental experience.

Justin is a versatile and comprehensive media professional. He has tremendous experience in complex multimedia production. His ingenious catapulted the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus' Guild of Students' International Affairs Committee's (2019/2020) presence on and off campus. He is also a member of the Global Communications & Technology sector of Congress-WBN. Justin is a brilliant addition to Abishai Corporation.
Aaron Payne
Creative Associate
Aaron is a digital content creator who specializes in web and graphic design as well as photography. As a Caribbean ambassador, he served as the Assistant Public Relations Officer of the International Affairs Committee in the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus' Guild of Students (2019/2020). He is a member of the Global Communications & Technology sector of Congress-WBN and m. Aaron is a valuable asset to Abishai Corporation.
Milton Robinson
Creative Associate
Corporal Milton Robinson is a member of the Jamaica Defence Force. He operates emergency and rescue helicopters across the island and is trained to offer medical assistance during crisis situations. He has received multiple accolades for his contribution to rescue, health and safety across Jamaica. Milton also is an extraordinary photographer who specializes in capturing army shots on Jamaican soil as well as other special occasions. We are elated to have Milton on board!
